At Galaxy, we’ve always seen ourselves as the bridge between traditional finance and the digital asset ecosystem. That mission continues to guide Galaxy Asset Management (“GAM”) as we evolve into a more diversified, resilient, and scaled platform. We are proud that over the past year, GAM has further diversified our product offerings, added world class talent to the team, and expanded into new business lines – all while remaining unwavering in our commitment to a conservative, institutional-focused approach to investing our clients’ capital.
This year, our foundation was strengthened through thoughtful, measured growth. We were thrilled to close Galaxy Ventures Fund I at $178M. We grew the fund slightly beyond our initial fundraise target in order to meet both the broadening of the opportunity set as well as the demand from our partners and investors but remained disciplined in the ultimate sizing of the fund. We are excited to see the core themes of the fund playing out in the portfolio, and have already offered a number of co-investment opportunities to fund investors. Away from the venture franchise, GAM has also expanded its managed account platform to $2.5B this year, reinforcing our position as a strong institutional partner for bespoke yield enhancement strategies. In our ETF business, we continue to introduce new products via our global partnerships, including CI Galaxy Core Multi-Crypto ETF and CI Galaxy Solana ETF. Importantly, these products are broadening investor access to digital assets within regulated structures, while also layering in innovative features like staking as well as in-kind creation and redemption mechanisms.
Looking ahead, we see a number of avenues to offer investors potential quality, idiosyncratic returns, including onchain yield strategies (as the world continues its inexorable march onchain), equity strategies (as public markets and crypto markets collide), venture capital and growth opportunities (as existing portfolio companies and thematics evolve), and additional ETF access vehicles (as our partners continue to expand their product line-ups). These efforts reflect our persistent belief, held for almost a decade, that the next generation of asset management will be defined by the convergence of traditional and digital finance.
That great convergence is a cornerstone of Galaxy Asset Management’s strategy, and is reflected in our newly redesigned website, which I’m proud to unveil today. The site unifies our strategies, insights, and vision into one destination, offering a clearer view of who we are and where we’re headed. It’s more than a refreshed digital experience – it’s a reflection of our evolution, our conviction, and our commitment to connecting investors with the technologies shaping the future of finance.
