Mike Giampapa is General Partner of Galaxy Ventures, focusing on the intersection of crypto and financial services, security & DeFi applications, and developer tooling. Prior to Galaxy, Mike worked at Bessemer Venture Partners, where he helped lead their crypto and fintech investing efforts, investing in 30+ companies across all stages. He also worked at Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), where he worked on the firm’s lead investment in Coinbase. Mike started his career at J.P. Morgan and worked in business development at Circle. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he served as co-president of the Blockchain and Crypto Club, and a B.A. in Economics from Johns Hopkins, where he was a member of the varsity football team.
